Although called Individual Services, these are offered for

one or two people

Private lessons are good for beginners, but
speaking with groups is the ultimate goal.

Beginning to Read and Write

A course using simple books to: 
 

  • Become familiar with school and learning.

  • Familiarize yourself with word patterns using the sounds of English.

  • Practicing how to properly read and write common words.

  • Spelling important words and phrases.

Pronunciation and Vocabulary

A course focused on pictures and words for: 
 

  • Learning about pronunciation in both English and Spanish. 

  • Using images to understand what English words are.

  • Learning more basic vocabulary.

  • Fine-tuning listening to English using audio. 

Vocabulary and Grammar

An course focused on grammar to:
 

  • Build the foundation to better understand more advanced levels.

  • Understand some of the similarities and differences between Spanish and English.

  • Begin to explore how words fit together to create language.

  • Grow your vocabulary.

English Basics

A course conducted mostly in English.

Using your existing English skills you:​

  • Use English words to speak about yourself and others.

  • Expand your knowledge of vocabulary, and reinforce your lexicon.

  • Comprehend simple and important written articles and/or oral stories, etc.

  • Respond to questions correctly and clearly.

Basics Continued

A course conducted only in English.

Using your existing English skills you:

​

  • Speak about yourself and others in hypothetical situations.

  • Actively reinforce your lexicon.

  • Comprehend longer and complex passages, the news, etc.

  • Respond to questions and follow-up in conversation.

All classes are:

  • 2 hours

  • 1-2 days per week OR 3-4 days per week

 

Pricing depends on:

  • the number of people that study

  • the number of days that you study

 

Prices are listed per student.

You can pay in cash, through Zelle, or through Venmo.

You pay in advance.

Payment is bi-weekly (every 2 weeks).
