Information
Growing up in southern California,
I spoke only Spanish as a child.
When I started school,
English became my
dominant language.

I always had to actively practice
my Spanish to ensure I
didn't become deficient.

At age 19, I began to study French.
Since, I have casually studied
German, Mandarin, and Portuguese.
After moving to New Jersey,
I studied
Linguistics and Cognitive Science at Rutgers University,
and graduated in 2019.
I now work as a Language Instructor.

Learning a new language as an adult is often a necessity, it's a challenge, and
it's a life-long process.
